The primary outcome of the qualification is to confirm your occupational competence in a specific role in the business and administration sector. The TQUK Level 3 Diploma in Business Administration (QCF) aims to develop and give recognition of your knowledge, understanding and competence of working relevant to business administration work roles. Business Administration level 3 designed for learners working, or looking to work, in a wide range of roles in business administration wishing to develop knowledge, understanding and competence of working relevant to business administration work roles. These flexible qualifications can be tailored to individual learners' and employers' needs no matter what industry they're working with. This course is designed to build upon the fundamental office skills, or introduce you to a variety of jobs within an office environment and to gain valuable office skills. After completing Business Administration Level 2 you will have the confidence to apply for jobs within this field. You will study office systems and procedures and learn how important it is to be an effective and co-operative team member and how to communicate with colleagues at all levels. You will gain skills in telephone, reception, word processing, health and safety, stock, spreadsheets and databases work within a realistic working environment. Career path way for this course includes: Business Consultant, Buyer, Business Analyst, Business Manager, Receptionist, Administration, and Secretary. This qualification forms part of the Advanced Business Administration apprenticeship.

3. Entry requirements

There are no specific entry requirements however learners should have a minimum of level two in literacy and numeracy or equivalent. However, it is likely that learners will have experience in a business or administration role although this is not a formal requirement. The qualification is suitable for learners of 16 years of age and above.
